Registered Professinal Land Surveyor
Required Qualifications
  • Current Registration to Practice Professional Land Surveying in the State of Texas
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Pass Pre-Employment DOT drug test and Breath Alcohol test
  • Subject to Random Drug Testing, once employed, in accordance with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations 49 (CFR 391.49)
Desired Qualifications
  • Highly skilled field surveyor (minimum two years crew leader experience)
  • Proficient in Microstation, Trimble Office, and Microsoft Office software
  • Proficient in the use of Total Station and TDS data collection software
  • Proficient in the use of Trimble RTK Global Positioning systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities

Registered Professional Land Surveyors must be able to accomplish all portions of any survey project including boundary surveys, improvement surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, well location plats, and right-of-way surveys. Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Research in-house and public records to prepare working sketches and information packets for field crews.
  • Perform all field work necessary to collect on the ground evidence.
  • Perform boundary analysis.
  • Draft survey plat.
  • Prepare metes and bounds descriptions along with various reports as required.

Registered Professional Land Surveyor’s responsibilities will also include:

  • Preparation of proposals, cost estimates and contracts
  • Client contact and coordination
  • Supervision of Surveyors-in-Training, Survey Technicians, CAD Technicians and Field Personnel

Crew Leader
Required Qualifications
  • High School Graduation or GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Subject to Random Drug Testing in accordance with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations 49 (CFR 391.49).

Instrument Man
Required Qualifications

Desired Qualifications
  • Skilled field surveyor (minimum one year Instrument Man experience)
  • Proficient in the use of Total Station and TDS data collection software
  • Proficient in the use of Trimble RTK Global Positioning systems
Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of a Crew Leader, an Instrument Man must be able to operate both Total Stations with data collector and RTK GPS equipment with data collector for any survey project including boundary surveys, improvement surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, well location plats, and right-of-way surveys.

Required Qualifications
